DESCRIPTION:EACDA Launches First Phase of N5 Million Empowerment and Youths’ Agro -Allied Loan Scheme\n\n\nThe Ekinrin-Adde Community Development Association (EACDA) has launched the first phase of its N5 million interest free Agro -Allied Loan Empowerment Scheme for the youths of the community.\n\n\nThe launching ceremony was done at the Ekinrin-Adde Event Centre by the National President of the Association\, Elder Deinde Toyin Komolafe.\n\n\nThe event witnessed the presence of members of the Association as well as members of Ekinrin-Adde Traditional Council.\n\n\nIn his address\, Elder Deinde Toyin Komolafe emphasized the importance of investing in young people\, particularly in agriculture\, describing them as the driving force of the community’s future growth and development.\n\n\nHe explained that the scheme was conceived not only to provide financial support but also to encourage self reliance\, job creation\, and food security in Ekinrin-Adde.\n\n\nThe National President further assured that the Association would continue to roll out initiatives targeted at youth empowerment\, stressing that the sustainability of the community depends on the productive engagement of its younger generation.\n\n\nIn a separate remark\, the Olu Adde of Ekinrin-Adde\, HRM Olu Anthony Bamigbaiye Idowu (CON)\, and the Akinrin of Ekinrin\, HRM Oba Johnson Kolade Otitoju\, urged the beneficiaries to make judicious use of the loan.\n\n\nThe monarchs described the initiative as the first of its kind\, designed to encourage young people to embrace agriculture as a viable alternative to unemployment.\n\n\nThe National Publicity Secretary of the Association\, Pastor Emmanuel Ajibola Ogungbuyi\, who took the beneficiaries through a pre-disbursement training session\, as a Human Capital Development Expert and a Certified Business Development Service Provider (BDSP)\, commended the initiative\, noting that it demonstrates EACDA’s commitment to human capital development along side the infrastructural development milestones in the community.\n\n\nAccording to him\, the initiative “guaranteed a brighter future for our teaming youths and Ekinrin-Adde Community”.\n\n\nPresent at the event amongst others\, were Chief Mrs Comfort Tanimola\, EACDA Vice President (Home)\, Hon. Arogundade Sunday\, the Home Branch Chairman\, Mr. Ajibola\, EACDA Youth Leader\, Mr. Kayode Thomas Tanimola\, Chief Tejumola\, and other notable personalities.\n\n\nBeneficiaries of the first phase expressed deep appreciation for the initiative and pledged to make judicious use of the funds to expand their agricultural ventures.\n\n\nAccording to the Association\, the empowerment scheme will be implemented in phases to ensure that more young people in Ekinrin-Adde benefit from the N5 million facility.\n\n\nTemibi Samuel\nSpecial Assistant on Media to EACDA National President\n30/08/2025
